We help founders, publishers, and cultural institutions build calm, durable brands - and make the printed and photographic work that carries them into the world.
Meridian is a small, independent practice. Since 2017 we have worked closely with a short list of clients, giving each project the time it needs rather than the time a schedule allows. Most of our work begins as a conversation and ends as something you can hold: a wordmark, a book, a set of images, a system that a team can carry on without us.
We are deliberately small. That keeps the person you speak with the same person doing the work, and it keeps our attention where it belongs - on the details that make a piece feel considered rather than assembled.
Wordmarks, type systems, and colour that stay legible from a business card to a building.
Books, catalogues, and reports produced with printers we trust, on stock chosen to last.
Product, place, and the occasional landscape series, shot to sit naturally alongside the design.
A short, plain handbook so the work keeps its shape long after we hand it over.
Good work is rarely rushed. We take on a handful of projects at a time and see each one through properly - research, drafts you can react to, and revisions that move toward clarity rather than away from it. We would rather do fewer things and finish them well.
Selected projects are shared privately on request. If you would like to see recent work, tell us a little about yours and we will send a folio that is relevant to it.
Tell us about your project - what it is, roughly when you would like to begin, and anything that matters to you about how it should feel. We read every message.
